About Us

Lil' Bits Microgreens is a small family-owned farm located in Citrus Heights, California. We grow and sell fresh, locally-grown microgreens to individual customers and local businesses in the greater Sacramento area, including Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

Orders & Payment

All individual consumer orders are placed through our website and require full payment upfront before we begin growing your order. This policy exists to eliminate waste and ensure that every tray we grow is spoken for.

• Payment is required in full at the time of ordering
• Orders are non-refundable once we have begun the growing process
• If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will issue a full refund
• By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete

Pickup Policy — Individual Customers

All individual consumer orders are available for local pickup only in the Citrus Heights area. We do not offer home delivery to individual customers.

• After your order is placed and paid, we will begin growing your microgreens
• You will receive a text message notification when your order is ready for pickup, typically within 14 days
• Pickup location and instructions will be provided at the time of notification
• Orders not picked up within 5 days of notification may be forfeited without refund, as fresh microgreens are perishable

Delivery Policy — Local Businesses Only

Delivery service is available exclusively to verified local businesses located in Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale, California. Business delivery is managed through our separate wholesale ordering process.

• Delivery is not available to individual residential customers under any circumstances
• Business delivery eligibility is determined at our sole discretion
• We reserve the right to verify any business before accepting a wholesale order
• Delivery availability, schedule, and pricing are subject to change
• Businesses outside our stated delivery area may contact us to discuss availability

Freshness & Product Quality

All microgreens are grown fresh to order and harvested shortly before pickup or delivery. Because our products are living, perishable food items:

• We recommend refrigerating your microgreens immediately upon pickup in a sealed container
• Microgreens are typically fresh for up to 7 days when stored properly
• We are not responsible for product quality after pickup or delivery has been completed
• If you have a concern about the quality of your order at the time of pickup, please contact us immediately

Cancellations & Refunds

Because every order triggers an active growing process, our ability to offer cancellations is limited:

• Cancellations requested within 24 hours of placing an order may be eligible for a full refund at our discretion
• Cancellations requested after growing has begun are not eligible for a refund
• If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason on our end, you will receive a full refund
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–10 business days

Unless otherwise stated, Lil' Bits Microgreens owns the intellectual property rights for all content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics. All rights are reserved.
